Hockey

This term we did hockey and it was only for our class which was for  girls only. Now I am loving hockey and I am ready to learn more challenging skills with He Puna Kawenga.

 For practical learning last term we learned how to  sew our headphones bags by sewing by hand. I chose these patterns  because I love the colours of it. The part I found the trickiest was  when I kept having knots  in the thread. The part I  enjoyed the most was when I learned how to hand sew and when I was  finished with my bag. I am proud of my headphone bag.

''Please please please can we please do that first. I  whispered  to myself. ''Excuse me what are we doing first?"  I asked some of the girls. "Don't you remember what we are doing today?" Said Jorja  "Oh yeah I remember now, thanks for helping me"  "You welcome" they said. The first thing we did was High jump high jump was challenging but I manged to jump five times over the pole  ''wow!'' said my mum little did I know my mum was watching me very closely but she was very proud of me.  Next we did long jump. To be honest I did well at long jump but I think that I could of gotten a longer jump. I love to feel the soft sand on my feet as it crumbled. Long distance running was a lot harder than I thought. It was kind of tiring at the same time. After long distance running it was lunch time.  After we had lunch the whole school got to play a little.
