Hi I'm Kini and my favourite subject is writing  because I love to get carried away with  wonderful  pieces of writing that gives us important information about the amazing world. To be honest I'm trying to strive for accuracy in my spelling as well as my sounding out and I can't wait to do more exciting pieces of writing this year.

Splash! The wild waves raged at me as I floated calmly across the shallow pool with the pack of girls. To be honest I really enjoy swimming with all of the girls in He Puna Kawenga and I can't wait to do more things with the girls.

Thirdly, how Pohutukawa trees are home to many. Next, how it is a special tree and about how they are in danger. To conclude, the book tells us how to save Pohutukawa trees. To be honest I like this book because I love to read fact books that help me learn about new things in the world,  especially the things that I do not know yet around in the world. It makes me so curious to read and find out more.
