I want to move up one level in spelling to get faster when we do spelling in word power . 

We are learning to use Canva to create posters and invitations. Here is my invitation for the open morning at Carlton School. 

Over the last 2 weeks we have been learning to write simple sentences. Here are 4: I like to play at the park. My family has a pet dog. Apples are good for you. School is good.

Gym is fun.  I like to do cartwheels at the gym. Our class  love to go to the gym.  At the gym my friends and I like to jump in the pit.

We did tree art. We had to draw a tree with no leaves on a black piece of paper.  We were experimenting with colour for the background. We made the paint go  darker and lighter  by using black and white paint.  We used a paper palette to mix the colours. I chose red.

This week we did a science experiment. We looked at how leaves change colour.

On Thursday we had an open day.  My dad and my mum came.
